Job Description
The Web Development Team Lead is responsible for the implementation of web sites for BusinessOnline’s clients. With involvement at all stages of the project, the Senior Web Developer works closely with Project Managers, Designers, and the Web Development team. In addition to hands-on work as a developer, the Senior Web Developer will manage a small team of web development team members, both as a mentor and to help create and improve processes and quality.
Required Experience
- XHTML/CSS
- JavaScript programming, with and without a framework (jQuery)
- Strong LAMP Skills, including object-oriented PHP programming
- AJAX and Web Services
- Database design, SQL scripting (MySQL)
- Content Management System configuration and integration (Drupal)
- Experience with a Source Control System (Subversion)
- Strong fundamental computer skills across operating systems, web servers, and network technologies
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction
- Must be able to work on multiple projects in an environment where priorities shift regularly
- Must have the ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and drive issues to resolution
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
