The Web Marketing Association presented the 2013 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development to BusinessOnline for Milgard.com.
Milgard is a window and door manufacturer owned by Masco Corporation. The purpose of Milgard.com is to help the consumer and professional find the appropriate window or door products and information, and provide lead inquiries to distributors.
The website posed a challenge in that products were only searchable by product Series, and the end user could not find a product by desired operating style or material type. The BusinessOnline solution was to enhance the navigation pane to include searches by appropriate Style, Material, Series, and Architecture type, and also added additional calls-to-action and lead forms. Landing pages were optimized and re-designed as a result of BusinessOnline analysis and A/B testing. Content sections and forms were continuously updated throughout the 2012Y-2013Y. We developed a UX strategy based on sophisticated variables that required html changes and the addition of creative assets to the website: template creation, banners, backgrounds, icons, and images. Ultimately, BusinessOnline was able to achieve the client’s goal of increasing web conversions, sales visibility and user experience with the project’s strategic implementation.
