Thad Kahlow is the CEO of BusinessOnline and has been responsible for the entrepreneurial leadership of all operations for over 16 years. His visionary leadership style has helped propel the company into the online marketing spotlight; making BusinessOnline one of the nation’s leading B2B digital agencies. He focuses on the alignment of business goals and customer needs so our clients can make business decisions guided by information that matters. His visionary leadership style coupled with a passion for delivering data-driven business solutions and measurable results provide the framework for successful and sustained client-agency relationships.

Matthew oversees all of BusinessOnline’s professional service practice areas. A seasoned web technology leader with 10+ years’ experience in Web Development and Information Technology, Matthew has honed his skills in consulting, startup, and corporate IT settings. Matthew has brought deep hands-on technical experience with enterprise web applications, systems integration, and has built scalable, high-availability systems to the BusinessOnline team for over 6 years. In his most recent prior role, Matthew led software engineering teams developing mission-critical applications for one of San Diego’s largest publicly-traded corporations. Matthew has experience leading global web development projects for the APAC and EMEA markets.
Matthew enjoys spending time with his two boys, backyard barbeque, reading, and espousing snarky witticisms.
VP, Digital Marketing
Rachel brings together the talent, ideas, and technology of BusinessOnline to help brands drive meaningful business results. She manages and directs the integrated strategy and channel execution team as well as the overall marketing efforts within the agency.
Prior to joining BusinessOnline, Rachel worked in multiple client-side roles in respected and well-known brands. She has experience in multiple verticals including: software, retail, government, finance and consumer goods. Her marketing experience spans 10+ years and encompasses all areas of digital marketing.
Rachel is a thought leader in the marketing space, writes on a variety of digital marketing topics, and has lectured at San Diego State University. Rachel holds a B.A. from the University of Florida and an M.S. from Pace University. She has been recognized as a 2015 finalist for the Agency Professional of the Year by SDX and Women Who Mean Business Finalist by the San Diego Business Journal.
VP, Business Development
As a VP of Business Development at BusinessOnline, Robert Cavilla is responsible for overall growth as a leading B2B data-driven digital marketing company. Primary responsibilities include product development, strategy & innovation, and managing key partner and client relationships.
Prior to BusinessOnline, Robert co-founded UpWord Search Marketing, was Business Development Research Manager at HookMedia an online advertising agency, and has previous experience in publishing and direct marketing as Director of Operations at Medical Publishing Associates. Robert received a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Connecticut College.
