Job Description:

This is an entry level position into the exciting business of search engine optimization for someone who has little or no experience in search, but is fluent in at least two languages (French and Spanish are prerequisites).

The SEO engineer will also work closely with our SEO team and our clients to deliver sophisticated SEO solutions.  The candidate will be trained in all aspects of organic SEO including but not limited to keyword research, title and meta tags, content optimization, link analysis, Google PageRank, server and platform architecture, optimal URL structure, duplicate content issues, proper handling of 301 and 302 redirects, link bait and link development, directory submission, search engine optimization best practices, local search and Google Webmaster Tools.  Additionally, the SEO engineer must continue learning and keep up to date with new and developing SEO strategies and technology.  You are expected to rise to these and other challenges that might surface and thrive on change, innovation, critical thinking, humor, results and success.  At BusinessOnLine, our people drive our process, our process drive our solutions, our solutions drive client satisfaction and client satisfaction drives us.

SEO Analyst Responsibilities:

• Must be fluent (read and write) in at least two languages (French and Spanish).  Applicants with additional language competencies will have priority.
• Keyword phrase audit, research and strategy
• Recommend content and Meta data changes based on keyword research
• Internal link analysis, including main navigation
• External link anchor text analysis and link development recommendations
• create XML and HTML sitemap
• Communicate campaign progress using website analytics
• Directory submissions

Requirements:

• Must be completely fluent (read and write) in both Spanish and French.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task to meet client’s business objectives
• Unparalleled organization skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to work in a consultative role with clients
• Problem Solving – ability to quickly solve problems in a fast paced environment
• Communication Skills – ability to communicate with clients in all formats: verbal, presentation, email, written documents
• Ability to provide direction to the implementation team through leadership and example
